Moderatto is a Mexican cover band active since the late-1990s.

Career

Moderatto began playing in the mid-nineties in Mexico City, They launched their mainstream debut CD, Resurrexión in 2001. This album quickly gained popularity thanks to their first single "Márchate Ya" and later "Isabel". In November 2004 they launched El Detector de Metal, whose first single "Muriendo Lento", featuring female pop singer Belinda, gave Moderatto their first taste of mainstream success. Since the release of Detector de Metal, the band gained notoriety among pop music fans. The group released an album at the end of 2006 titled ¡Grrrr!. The first single from ¡Grrrr! is "Sentimettal", which in three weeks climbed to No. 3 on the Mexican Top 40.
