Misti Dawn (born February 11, 1986) is an American alternative model, pornographic actress, makeup artist, podcaster, burlesque performer, and online presenter. She is the so-creator and co-host of Keep You Shirt On weekly podcast with Nicole Klepper, as well as a freelance make-up artist who has been featured on Geek & Sundry, HitFix, and more.

Early life

Dawn was born in Kentucky, and lived there until age 18. Her modeling career took her to Los Angeles, where she currently lives and works.

Career

Dawn began modeling at age 18 with the recently launched SuicideGirls, and a year later at 19, she tried her hand at burlesque dancing. After attending college for Pre-Veterinary Science, she moved to Los Angeles at 24 to pursue modeling full-time.

After a brief stint as an adult film star, Dawn retired to do make-up, cosplay, and acting.

Among her numerous projects online and off, she has appeared alongside Elijah Wood in Max Landis's Death and Return of Superman, Tim Armstrong's Rock and Roll Theater, as well as the music video for "We Have A Situation Here" by The Damned Things. She has also hosted various shorts and programs across YouTube.

She was also featured in the video game remake of Rise of the Triad as the character Thi Barrett.

Dawn has also been a major part of numerous podcasts. She formally co-hosted "Bagged and Boarded" with Matt Cohen on Kevin Smith's Smodcast network, and currently hosts Keep Your Shirt On with Nicole Klepper.

The Cana Rum Bar in Los Angeles named its cocktail, the Misti Dawn Swizzle, after her.[1]
