Mike Nixon is a Canadian politician, who was elected to in the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the 2011 election.[1] He represents the electoral district of Porter Creek South as a member of the Yukon Party caucus.

Nixon ran for a seat to the Yukon Legislative Assembly in a by-election held on December 13, 2010 in the riding of Whitehorse Centre for the Yukon Party, but finished third in the generally NDP riding.[2]

Following the 2011 election, Nixon was appointed to cabinet as Minister of Justice and Minister of Tourism and Culture.[3] In January 2015, Nixon was moved to Minister of Health and Social Services and Minister in charge of the Workers’ Compensation Health and Safety Board.[4]
