Mel Homer is a New Zealand television presenter and radio presenter. She currently hosts the TV3 morning show The Café alongside with Mike Puru.[1][2][3][4]

Career

Radio

Homer is currently the radio host for New Zealand's Mix98 in the mornings.[5][6][7] She has previously worked for The Hits, Newstalk ZB and Radio Hauraki.

Television

In 2015 Homer was the host for a show on Choice TV called My Dream Room.[8][9][10] From the start of April 2016, Homer started hosting the TV3 morning show The Café alongside with Mike Puru.[11][12][13]

Personal life

Homer spent six years in Hong Kong from 1998 to 2004. She worked at Radio Television Hong Kong around this time. She has 3 children. One of her children Jesse was born in Hong Kong. She is married to NZ sailmaker Andy Pilcher.
