The Mayor's Cup is the name of the rivalry between the Temple Owls and the Villanova Wildcats. The two schools are located 15 miles apart from each other in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.^[1]^[2]^[3] The two teams have met 32 times on the football field, and the all time series is currently tied at 15–15–2. The teams will meet again in 2017 and 2018.^[4]
