Marta Rovira i Vergés (Vic, January 25, 1977) is a lawyer and Spanish politician from Catalonia.[1]

Rovira holds a degree in Law from Pompeu Fabra University and in Political Sciences and Public Administration from the Open University of Catalonia.[1]

She has worked as a lawyer, has been a professor of Administrative Law at the Escola de Policia de Catalunya (2003–2007), and Director of Field Services Support at the Agència Catalana de Cooperació al Desenvolupament (Catalan Agency of Cooperation to the Development) (2007–2011).[2]

Rovira has been a member of Republican Left of Catalonia since 2005, and during the 25th National Congress celebrated in 2005, she was chosen as National Secretary of International and European Politics and Cooperation. During the 26th National Congress (2011) she was elected general secretary. Rovira won a seat in the Parliament of Catalonia during the elections of 2012 and in 2015 stood in the elections to the Parliament of Catalonia with the pro-independence coalition Together for Yes.[1]

Between 2008 and 2012 Rovira was general secretary of the European Free Alliance.

Rovira was the representative-secretary of the Young Lawyers Association of Catalonia (2006–2007), manager of the Group of Young Lawyers of Vic (2004–2006) who she represented in the Governing Board of the Vic Law Association, member of the Platforma Solidària de la UPF (1999), and representative of the students association Jurists without borders (1997–1999). She is also a member of the Sagals of Osona.[2]
