Mantesh (Persian: منتش, also Romanized as Mantash)[1] is a village in Lak Rural District, Serishabad District, Qorveh County, Kurdistan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.[2]

Mantesh actually incidentally a Sanskrit - Mahaan (Greatest) + Esha (Lord) meaning Greatest Lord. The existence of the name Mantesh in Iran proves that the Hindu culture and tradition (100 BC) was widespread up to greater Iran and whole of peninsular region.
