Luis Carone

Luis Carone, born in 1984, began working with Post and FX at 14. Two years later he was working as a 3D artist for production companies such as Vetor Zero and Lobo. His next destination was London where he worked at The Mill, Ridley Scott's post-production company. There he was already working as a senior 3D artist at the age of 18.

Back in Brasil in 2004, he directed his first music video. Ever since then, Luis have been an active director for music videos, vignettes and commercials. He won twice as Best Music Video Director at the MTV Brazil Video Music Awards for "Voce Sabe" by Autoramas (2005) and "Convicted in Life" by Sepultura (2006).

After three years gaining experience directing commercials for Fernando Meirelles production company, 02 Films, Luis helped found with fellow director Heitor Dhalia, Paranoid BR in search of a more comprehensive approach for future projects. He was considered one of the 30 best talents of the year by Boards Magazine in 2008. Luis is also Parter and CEO of Jonathan Post.
