Lloyd Pierce is a current assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA. He previously worked for the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Golden State Warriors. He formerly played internationally and in Australia.[1]

Cleveland Cavaliers

Pierce served as the coordinator for player development for the Cavs from 2007 to 2010.

Memphis Grizzlies

Pierce began coaching the Grizzlies in 2011 and worked under head coach Lionel Hollins.[2] He was also part of the player development staff.

Golden State Warriors

Pierce served under Mark Jackson's coaching staff for about half of a season. [3][4]

Philadelphia 76ers

Pierce joined the 76ers just before the 2013–14 NBA season.[5]

Personal life

Pierce graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in business management. On August 14, 2015 Lloyd Pierce married his longtime girlfriend Melissa Ghoston in Philadelphia, PA. [6]
