LkCa 15 is a star in the Taurus-Auriga Star Forming Region. It has a mass of 0.970 solar masses, a temperature of 4370 K[1] & a visual magnitude of 11.91. It is a Spectral Type K5V type pre-main-sequence star.

The disc around this star is ~55 Jupiter masses,[2] LkCa 15 has a candidate protoplanetary object in orbit around it called LkCa 15b[3][4] or Lick Calcium 15b. This name stems from an older survey.[5]
