Officers
Several positions did not technically exist prior to the formal incorporation of the University by approval of its Charter on 4 January 1965. However several were appointed beforehand as nominal "officer designates", performing the same duties. The Duchess of Kent was not formally installed as Chancellor until 30 March 1966.[1]
