List of Khandayat dynasties and states

Prior to Independent India, in the regions of Odisha, West Bengal, Chattisgarh, pockets of Bihar, Jharkand, and Andhra Pradesh, there were ruling states and dynasties ruled by people from the Rajputia Khandayat community. Below is a list of such states and their dynasties.

Palaces were created by rulers in the medieval periods in Odisha and adjacent states both as a fort and an exhibition of royalty. Shown here is the Balangir Palace, which belongs to the erstwhile royal family of SinghDeo
