Mel then fainted on the sand, with all the guests crowded around him. When he awoke, he had lost his memory and couldn't remember anyone around him. Taking in one of Donald’s suggestions, Mick punches Mel in the head (trying to get his memory back), but that just causes him to faint again. Mel is then taken away in an ambulance and Mick is taken away in a police car. As the guests head back to the Solana, Madge and Janice get a lift from a Spanish male (who turns out to be a murderer with drugs and a gun) to the police station and hospital, but instead takes them to a cliff and threatens to kill them if they don't stay in his car. They both are then taken back to the Solana, and they, along some of the guests, are held hostage - revealing he is a murderer. He took them to the rooftop and threatened that he would throw bodies off the roof if they didn't keep quiet. Mel then turns up in a helicopter, knocking the murderer unconscious with a bat, and holds & kisses Madge, finally getting back his memory. To apologise, the Solana offered the guests a free 1-week holiday for the following year.

Series 7 (2015)

After the sixth series had aired, ITV confirmed that a seventh series will air in 2015. On 21 March 2014, it was announced that Elsie Kelly, Crissy Rock and Johnny Vegas would return during the series.[2] Filming for the seventh series began on 24 March 2014.[2] Kenny Ireland, who played Donald, wasn't in this series. His character was written out because the actor had developed cancer. He died in July of the same year. All ratings do not include HD as it isn't available for all the episodes.[3] It was also confirmed that the Garveys will leave during series seven.[4] The seven-part seventh series began on ITV on 2 January 2015 at 9pm and finished on 13 February 2015.[5]
