Klaus-Heiner Lehne

Klaus-Heiner Lehne (born 28 October 1957 in Düsseldorf) is a Member of the European Court of Auditors since March 2014 and serves as its President since October 2016.[1] Before, he was a lawyer, politician and Member of the European Parliament for North Rhine-Westphalia.[2] He was a member of the conservative Christian Democratic Union, part of the European People's Party[2] and was among the signatories of the Spinelli Manifesto for a more federal Europe.
