Kerala Premier League is a professional football league organised by Kerala Football Association played in the state of Kerala.[1]

Structure

It features the best teams of Kerala affiliated to the KFA competing for the Trophy. The league is played in a two single format where the teams were divided into 2 groups.Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the final round. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. At the end of the season a table of the final League standings is determined, based on the following criteria in this order: points obtained, goal difference, and goals scored.

Women's league was started from 2014-15 season with 8 teams.[2][3]

Sponsorship

The Kerala Premier League has been sponsored since 2013-14 season. Ramco Cements was the sponsors of the league for the first 2 seasons.
