Kent Football United F.C. is an English football club located in Dartford. The club plays in the Southern Counties East League Division One. The club was accepted into the newly formed Kent Invicta Football league for the inaugural 2011–12 season.

History

The team was formed in 2010 as Erith & Dartford Town Football Club.[3] They were accepted into the Kent Invicta Football League for the inaugural 2011–12 season. In the same season, the club made its debut in the FA Vase, but was knocked out in the Second Qualifying Round by Seaford Town.[4] The club changed its name to Kent Football United for the 2012–13 season.[5]

Colours

Kent Football United's colours are blue shirts, shorts and socks.[6]

Ground

Kent Football United play their home games at The Glentworth Sports Ground, Lowfield Street, Dartford, Kent, DA1 1JB. The club moved to this ground for the start of the 2014/15 season. The ground has been completely renovated by the club through hard work of the coaches and youth players parents.

The club previously shared a ground with VCD Athletic.[6]

Youth Teams

Kent Football United now boasts a range of youth teams competing in the Selkent and Kent Leagues. For the start of the 2014/15 season the club had listed 10 youth teams and an under 21 development team.
