Jovica Antonić (Serbian Cyrillic: Јовица Антонић, born July 13, 1966) is a Serbian professional basketball coach.

Coaching career (Men's basketball)

In 1991, Antonić began his coaching career in Mladost Zemun. After that he moved to Radnički Belgrade. In November 1998, Antonić was named the coach of KK Crvena zvezda for the rest of the 1998–99 season. He and Crvena zvezda parted ways on 10 October 1999. The club sat well in domestic league, but fared poorly in EuroLeague 1999–2000 season. Antonić was a head coach of KK Igokea for 2000–01 season where he won Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, he coached Spartak Subotica,[1] OKK Beograd,[2] Lavovi 063 and Konstantin.

National team

Antonić is an assistant coach of Aleksandar Đorđević in the Serbia national team, with whom he won silver at the 2014 Basketball World Cup in Spain and, a two years later, at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Coaching career (Women's basketball)

Antonić was a head coach of Hemofarm[3] from Vršac where he won the Serbian Basketball League and the Milan Ciga Vasojević Cup in 2006–07 season.

National team

Antonić was a head coach of Serbia national team and led the ladies at 2007 EuroBasket Women in Italy and 2009 EuroBasket Women in Latvia.[3]

Also, Antonić has coached and Serbia Under-20 national team that took silver at the 2007 European Championship for Women in Bulgaria and bronze at 2008 European Championship for Women in Italy.[3]
