Jet card
A Jet Card is a private aviation option that enables holders to use various different aircraft at agreed-upon fixed hourly rates.[1]
Traditional hourly Jet Card programs offer a fixed amount of hours on a specific aircraft model or category.[2]
Notable Jet Card providers include Delta Private Jets, Flight Options, Marquis Jet (NetJets), Sentient and Flexjet.[3]
History
The term “jet card” was devised to create a marketing product for what equates to block on-demand charter.[4]
Developments
In 2015, Boca Raton, Florida based Airstream Jets introduced its Distance Card™, which bases its pricing on total miles flown rather than hours.[5]
