James Arthur Ewing
James Arthur Ewing (born c. 1916)[1] was the 40th Governor of American Samoa. He took the office on November 28, 1952 and resigned just over four months later, on March 4, 1953.[2][3] He was appointed by President Harry S. Truman.[4] Prior to his appointment, Ewing was an executive with an Ohio steel company.[5] He was from Youngstown, Ohio.[6]
