Jaimee Gundry (born 15 August, 1994) is a female diver from South Africa. Born in Johannesburg, Gundry was a keen gymnast from the age of 4. Relocating with her family to the United Kingdom when she was 7 years of age, she pursued her gymnastics until she was 13 when injury forced her to quit. Gundry was encouraged to try diving as an alternate activity and has been participating in the sport ever since, training at Southampton Diving Academy. Attending college at Duke University in the United States, she is a staple member of the Duke University Diving Team - go Blue Devils!! Gundry has competed globally and became a member of the South African National Team in 2012. She competed at the 2013 and 2015 World Aquatics Championships and the 2014 and 2016 Diving World Cup.[1] Her specialty is 10m platform event and her favourite dive to compete is 5253B, an impressive feat.

Gundry's mascot and biggest fan is her dog, Addison. A yellow Labrador, Gundry has had her pet since she was 12 and the two have a close bond. Fans of the young diver are equally as fond of Addison and enjoy the many photos of the pair Gundry shares on her various social media accounts.
