Iqram Magdon-Ismail is an American who co-founded the mobile payment service Venmo in 2009,[2] along with Andrew Kortina. Venmo was acquired for $26.2 million by Braintree in 2012,[3] and is now owned by PayPal.[4] In 2015, Venmo processed payments of $7.5 billion.[5]
