The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar) is a public business school located in Amritsar, Punjab, India.[3] It is one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) established in 2015. It was inaugurated by Sardar Surjit Singh Rakhra, Minister of Higher Education and Languages, Punjab on 6 August 2015.

IIM Amritsar is temporarily located within the campus of Government Polytechnic College, Amritsar till it moves to its own campus of approximately 60 acres, which is under construction at Manawala on Amritsar-Jalandhar GT Road, in about 3 years time.[4]

Student initiatives

In its very first year, students of IIM Amritsar organised their maiden Management Conclave "A Square" in the month of January by inviting prominent speakers from the industry.[5] In the second year, students organised their maiden HR conclave "Yukti" by inviting experts from all over the industry.[6]
