In The Storm is the third album by El DeBarge released on Warner Bros. Records. The album contains the first single "You Know What I Like" and "Love Me Tonight," which featured a then-unknown Chanté Moore.

In The Storm also features the cover of the Marvin Gaye song "After the Dance", a song that originally appeared on the self-titled debut album by the jazz supergroup Fourplay.
