Plot

Ichhapyaari Naagin is set in a land called "Naagistan" (Snake-land), where many Ichhadhaari Naags and Naagins (wishful snakes and serpents) live. They are nice and some never get vicious. One day while watching a TV show, they realize that earthlings have made a negative image in their minds about snakes, that the snakes are negative, vengeful creatures who are only out to harm or bite them. Then they decide that they must come up with way to change these perceptions about them.

While Chirmiri feels that the earthlings must be punished, Ichha believes that perhaps, there might be a more peaceful way to go about with this. So then Iccha; a charming and cheerful serpent, is sent to earth to change the perception of earthlings about snakes. She appears in a temple, before a pandit who worships snake deities and he tells her about the Pratap Family; a simple and loving Pehalwaan family.

She deliberately bumps into Babble Pratap; who's riding a bike and instantly falls in love with him. Ichha drops him home (who's unconscious after the accident). Kaushalya (aka Daadi) decides to let Ichha at their place after she feigns a memory loss due to the accident.

Babble says that snakes and humans should never have any relationship and from hearing this Iccha gets really sad. Meanwhile the people in Naagistan discover that Iccha is not focusing on her mission but is just flirting with Babble. Chirmiri gets very furious from seeing this and tries her best to make Iccha come back to Naagistan so she can take revenge from the humans. On the other hand Vishali a snake who was being troubled by the Pratap Family eventually kidnapped Dadi's son Shankar and has kept him as a hostage till then. Now she is using him so she can find out about the whereabouts of the Pehalwaan family and then she can take revenge from them. Babbal dies during a bomb explosion in Diwali. To save him Iccha does a puja called Saanjhpratiyarpan where she can give half of her life to Babbal. Vishali arrives in the Pehalwaan house and discovers that one of the members of the family has died. Now Iccha has to save her love and also deal with Vishali who has now came for her revenge. Babble is now reborn to life. Iccha succeeds in saving Babble but she has now lost half her life. Iccha gets saved. Babble falls in love with Iccha. Vishlali disguises as a girl named Amrita and comes to the Pehalwaan house. She tells Dadi that she is here to make a movie about wrestlers and their wifes. They let Amrita stay in the house but her real goal is to destroy the Pratap family. Iccha finds out that the rivals of the Pehalwaan house are the ones who put the bomb inside the house on Diwali night. She punishes them and sends them to jail. Vishlali finds out that their is a Naagin who is protecting the Pratap family. To find out who the Naagin is, Vishlali makes them smell a special flower that only snakes could smell. Mamta wakes up in the middle of the night and they mistake Mamta as the Naagin and kidnapp her.
