Howli (IPA:ˈhaʊlɪ)is a town and a town area committee in Barpeta district in the Indian state of Assam.

Howli is located at 26°26′N 90°58′E / 26.43°N 90.97°E / 26.43; 90.97.[1] It has an average elevation of 43 metres (141 feet).

As of 2001 India census,[2] Howli had a population of 15,958. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%.
