Horrie Watt

Horace Charles 'Horrie' Watt or sometimes Harry Watt (1891-1969) was an Australian premiership winning rugby league player from the 1920s.

Horrie Watt was born at Balmain, New South Wales in 1891 to parents George and Elizabeth Watt. He came through the junior rand to be graded with the Balmain Tigers in 1917. He played nine seasons of first grade football with Balmain between 1917-1925, and played in the winning Balmain side that won the 1924 Grand Final.

Horrie (or sometimes 'Harry') Watt represented New South Wales on four occasions in 1919, 1921 and 1924. He also played three Tests for the Kangaroos against England in 1924.[1]

Horrie Watt died on 11 September 1969 at Regents Park, New South Wales, aged 79. [2]
