Hoàng Đăng Huệ

[1]Hoàng Đăng Huệ[2] (1932–2015) was a Major General of Ministry of Defence in Việt Nam. He was the Political Commissar of The High Command of Tank and Armour

Biography

His real name is Hoàng Nguyên,[3] born in 1932 in [4] Hiệp Hòa District, Bắc Giang Province. Major General Hoàng Đăng Huệ served as soldier in the War of Resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism when he was 15 years old. In the Battle of Điện Biên Phủ, he was the superior of Phan Đình Giót (a Hero of People's Armed Forces). His last position was Political Commissar, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Housing and Land Board of The High Command of Tank and Armour in Việt Nam. During the time of serving in The arm of Tank and Armour, a large number of soldier showed their gratitude to Mr. Hoàng Đăng Huệ for his help with opportunities to receive a large amount of Land to survive.

In 06, January, 2015, the Funeral of Major General Hoàng Đăng Huệ was hosted by The High Command of Tank and Armour, Ministry of Finance. Attendants : Generals from Ministry of Defence: Senior Lieutenant Đỗ Bá Tỵ; Genneral Phùng Quang Thanh - Minister of National Defense and other important high-ranking generals in Việt Nam.

Mr. Hoàng Đăng Huệ is one of the most important person laying foundation of the existence and development of The Arm of the High Command of Tank and Armour.
