Harry Oliver Middleton (born 12 April 1995)[1] is an English footballer who plays as a Midfielder for Doncaster Rovers.

Playing career

Youth

Middleton was part of the Youth Alliance Cup winning Rovers team in 2012, in the 4-0 win over Exeter City at Exeter.[3]

Doncaster Rovers

Whilst still a member of the youth team, he gained his first team début in the Football League Trophy area quarter final game against Crewe at the Alexandra Stadium on 4 November 2012.[4] He was given a one-year professional contract by the club in July 2013.[5] He made his second appearance on 7 October 2014 in a 3-0 away victory over Burton Albion in the Football League Trophy, coming on as a 87th-minute substitute.[6][7]

In April 2015 Middleton was given his first league start in a win over Leyton Orient, alongside Richie Wellens and Dean Furman in central midfield.[8][9]

Middleton played a part in the first two fixtures of 2015–16, coming on as a substitute in the opening league match[10] and starting in the League Cup penalty shoot-out victory over Leeds United.[11]
