Grigorij Khizhnyak (Ukrainian: Григорій Хижняк; born July 16, 1974) is a retired Ukrainian professional basketball player.

Career

A dominant defensive force in the paint, the 2.16 m center led the Euroleague in blocks per game for two consecutive years in 2001 and 2002 playing for Žalgiris Kaunas. Among his greatest achievements is the participation in the 2005 ULEB Cup final with Makedonikos.

Khizhnyak has been a regular member of the Ukrainian national basketball team.
