Greatest Hits is the third compilation album by Richard Marx. Released in 1997, this greatest hits package was the last recording for Marx as a Capitol Records artist. This album contains fourteen of Marx's hit releases, plus "Touch of Heaven," a promotional single from the album Flesh & Bone, and a new track, "Angel's Lullaby."

This album was certified Platinum in the United Kingdom in 2013 for sales of 300,000 copies.

Although this disc had sold close to 700,000 copies in America by 2015, Capitol had never requested a sales audit. In the spring of 2016, the album was certified Gold by the RIAA - which represents U. S. sales of over 500,000 copies - becoming Richard's fifth American Gold album.
