Count Franz von Limburg Stirum

Count Franz von Limburg Stirum (born 1943) is a Finnish farmer of German origin. He belongs to a mediatized branch of the dynasty which reigned as Dukes of Limburg.

Franz von Limburg Stirum was educated in Sweden, where he obtained the degree of Agricultural Technologist, at the Lantbruksuniversitet. Then he began farming, together with his wife Marianne von Julin (member of a wealthy Finnish industrial family related to Baron Gustaf Mannerheim, Marshal of Finland, Regent of Finland 1918-1919 and President of the Republic 1944-46), the family's Koski manor in Western Uusimaa, Finland.
