Forsyth Country Day School is an independent, coeducational, nonsectarian, college-preparatory day school, established in 1970, and located in Lewisville, North Carolina. FCDS enrolls students from age two through twelfth grade and is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

FCDS athletic teams are nicknamed the Furies and compete in the Piedmont Athletic Conference of Independent Schools (PACIS) and the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA).
