Wilcox Fresh is the d.b.a. name of Floyd Wilcox & Sons, Inc. (sometimes called Wilcox) It is a produce company or family of companies with headquarters in Rexburg, ID. They harvest and package produce including potatoes and onions.
History
Floyd Wilcox & Sons, Inc. was started in Thornton, ID in 1948 by Floyd Wilcox. The original building was about 7,000 sq ft (650 m2) and required a lot of manual labor.
In 1998 a new state-of-the-art 88,000 sq ft (8,200 m2). facility was constructed in Rexburg at the current company headquarters. This facility is capable of handling over 1.4 million lbs. of potatoes per day with high speed accuracy and tenderness. The company is currently owned and operated by the descendants of Floyd Wilcox, with Lynn Wilcox currently serving as President.
