FlexJobs

FlexJobs is an employment website that lists pre-screened telecommuting jobs, part-time jobs, flexible schedule jobs, and freelance jobs.[1][2] FlexJobs was launched in 2007 by Sara Sutton Fell, is completely virtual with staff that telecommute throughout different locations in the United States, and was rated as one of the Best Small-Company Cultures in 2015 by Entrepreneur.[3] [4][5][6]

Job postings on FlexJobs.com are hand screened for legitimacy before they are posted.[7] To gain full access to job postings, job seekers pay a subscription fee and qualified employers post jobs at no cost.[8] It was reported in 2011 that FlexJobs had 7000 jobs on their site.[9] That number has grown to 24,000 in 2015.[10]

In 2013 FlexJobs was named a Top 100 Website for Your Career by Forbes.[11]

The company publishes statistics on the trends and benefits of remote work and work flexibility. A 2015 survey conducted by FlexJobs reported that 76% of workers chose to work remotely when they want to be productive while working on important tasks.[12]

FlexJobs also produces an annual list of the top 100 companies to watch for remote job opportunities.[13]
