Exemplar Global
Exemplar Global Inc., formerly known as RABQSA, is an international not-for-profit organization with charity status in Australia that provides personnel certification for auditors and engineers; and third-party certification for training providers. The Exemplar Global business consists of a number of distinct business divisions:
- Certification: personnel and training provider certifications
- Exemplar Global College: online continuing professional development courses
- iNARTE: certifications for qualified engineers and technicians in the fields of telecommunications, electromagnetic compatibility/interference, product safety, electrostatic discharge control, and wireless systems installation
- Media: publishes The Auditor Online magazine and manages communications
Exemplar Global has principal offices in Milwaukee, United States; Sydney, Australia; Seoul, South Korea; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
History
What is now known as Exemplar Global commenced offering quality certifications in the United States and Australia in 1989. Exemplar Global was created in 2004 from the acquisition of the personnel certification activities of U.S.-based Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) by the Australian-based Quality Society of Australasia (QSA). iNARTE (International Association for Radio, Telecommunications, and Electromagnetics) merged with RABQSA International in June 2012. Exemplar Global is a wholly owned independent subsidiary of ASQ.

Personnel Certification
Exemplar Global examines an auditor’s knowledge, skills, personal attributes, and qualifications specific to a program (scheme) and/or scope of certification. The resulting personnel certification demonstrates that the individual has met the specific competencies defined by industry as requirements to work in a particular industry sector. Exemplar Global offers two types of personnel certification: competency-based and qualification-based certification. Competency-based personnel certification is based on specific competencies defined by industry as requirements for professionals who work in a given industry sector, and assesses the professional’s knowledge, skills, personal attributes, and qualifications. Qualification-based personnel certification is based purely on education and qualifications. Exemplar Global offers personnel certification programs for:

Training Certification
Exemplar Global training certification programs have been designed to give proof of quality for training providers, higher education institutions, and commercial organizations that offer non-degree training.
Exemplar Global’s training certification process looks at the design, development, and delivery of course framework and, if applicable, certifies the course or assessment against a range of ISO management system schemes, such as quality, food safety, and occupational health and safety.
