Eugene Lenti (born June 18, 1957) is an American softball coach. He has been the head coach for the DePaul Blue Demons softball team for 34 years, starting in the position in 1979. He has compiled a record of 1,236-604-6 at DePaul and has had four seasons (1999, 2001, 2002, and 2008) in which his teams have won more than 50 games. As of May 2015, he ranked seventh in wins in the history of college softball. He has been inducted into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame.[1][2]

Lenti and his wife, Kandace, have three children: Alexandria (Ali), Gena, and Catherine. Lenti resides on the north side of Chicago. Daughter Ali played for the DePaul softball team as an outfielder from 2012 to 2015, compiling a .278 batting average and scoring 42 runs in 151 at bats.[3] Daughter Gena also plays as an outfielder for the DePaul softball team, having completed her junior season in 2015.[3]
