EmiSunshine or Emilie Sunshine Hamilton (born 2004)[1] is an American country music singer/songwriter from Madisonville, Tennessee, who captured the nation's attention through her viral social media presence.[2][3] Her performance of Jimmie Rodgers’ “Blue Yodel No. 6” was posted on YouTube in 2014 and has become a viral hit with over 1 million views that gained attention from the Today show (NBC) and Music Row.[4][3] Her new YouTube series, Americana Corner, featured Holly Williams for its debut episode and earned a feature story in Rolling Stone's, Rolling Stone Country section.[5]

Career

EmiSunshine released her first single, "Oh Mary, Where Is Your Baby?" in 2014 and a year later released her next single "I Am Able". She released a full length CD, "Black Sunday '35" when she was 9 years old.

Emi performs about 150 shows a year across the country. She has performed on Marty Stuart’s Late Night Jam at the Ryman Auditorium during CMA Music Fest[6][4] and has ongoing performances at the Grand Ole Opry.[1][4][7]
