Egeln is a town in the Salzlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated on the river Bode, approx. 15 km northwest of Staßfurt, and 25 km southwest of Magdeburg.
Egeln is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Egelner Mulde.

- Friedrich Lücke (1791-1855), Protestant theologian, university professor and abbot of the monastery Bursfelde near Hann. Münden, Germany
- Ernst Pittschau (1859-1916), born in Egeln, court actor at the court theater (today Burgtheater) in Vienna, married in second marriage with the Viennese actress Hilda Hofer aka Schützenhofer (1873-1961).
