Edward Allan Hargreaves (1826 – 9 March 1880) was a 19th-century member of parliament in Canterbury, New Zealand.

Hargreaves was the first Mayor of Lyttelton.[1]

He represented the Town of Lyttelton electorate from 1866 to 1867, when he resigned.[2] He was succeeded by George Macfarlan.[3] He died at his residence at West Town Belt in Timaru on 9 March 1880.[4]
