William Edward Irwin (1882 – February 5, 1916) was a third baseman in Major League Baseball. He played one game for the Detroit Tigers in 1912 when the Detroit Tigers went on strike due to the suspension of Ty Cobb. He hit two triples at three times at bat in the game.[1]
