Ectasia

Ectasia (/ɛkˈtʒə/), also called ectasis (/ˈɛktəss/), is dilation or distention of a tubular structure,[1] either normal or pathophysiologic, but usually the latter (except in atelectasis, where absence of ectasis is the problem).
