David Dedek (born 25 January 1971 in Ljubljana, Slovenia FPR Yugoslavia). Studied at Faculty for Sports in Ljubljana, where he 4 times received best student award. Since 1995 he works as professional basketball coach.

Dedek has been in Pro basketball since 1995. He was working in Slovenia for 7 years. He came to Poland in 2003 to join Anwil Włocławek to help them win their first championship. In 2007 he has joined the Polish champions Asseco Prokom Gdynia where he stayed until June 2011. In the season 2012/13 he was working as a Head Coach at Start Gdynia only to move back for the 2013/14 season to former Polish champion Asseco Gdynia.
