David Corkill

David Corkill is a lawn and indoor bowler and commentator born on 15 February 1960.

David started bowling at an early age in Tullycarnet Park where he played for Gilnahirk. He joined the Knock outdoor club and won the Irish National Fours title in 1977 and 1978, the National singles title in 1980 and 1988 and the National Pairs in 1983 and 1984.[1]
He continues to compete both outdoors and indoors but has more recently become the voice for the BBC during the televised stages of the World Indoor Bowls Championships.
