Daulatpur Thana (Bengali: দৌলতপুর) is an thana of Khulna District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh.[1]

Geography

Daulatpur is located at 22°53′15″N 89°31′00″E / 22.8875°N 89.5167°E / 22.8875; 89.5167. It has 17097 households and total area 7.69 km².

Demographics

As of 1991 Bangladesh census, Daulatpur has a population of 81186. Males constitute 55% of the population, and females 45%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 45691. Daulatpur has an average literacy rate of 60.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[2]
