Dark York is the first full-length mixtape by American rapper/producer Le1f, released on April 9, 2012.[4] The mixtape produced the viral hit "Wut", which was later featured on Le1f's Hey EP.

Reception

Dark York received positive reviews from music critics. Fact called the mixtape "a murky, often demanding and mostly enthralling listen full of lyrical and sonic twists that wears its radical nature lightly," characterizing it as "a gauntlet thrown down to the straight hip-hop world, not an inward-looking one-off."[5] Pitchfork commended the mixtape's music, and stated that " Le1f matches the forward-thinking production punch for punch, coming across as a compelling and provocative rapper at every turn."[6]
