Dari is a census town in Dadi (community development block) of Hazaribag district in the state of Jharkhand, India.

Demographics

As per 2011 Census of India Dari had a population of 6,405. There were 3,283 males and 3,122 females. Scheduled Castes numbered 791 and Scheduled Tribes numbered 1,100.[1]

As of 2001 India census,[2] Dari had a population of 7,382. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Dari has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70% and, female literacy is 52%. In Dari, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Literacy

As per 2011 census the total number of literates in Dari was 4,348 out of which 2,506 were males and 1,842 were females.[1]
