Senate and municipal elections were held in the Czech Republic on 10–11 October 2014. The second round of the election to the Senate was held on 17–18 October 2014.[1] One third of the mandates (27 out of 81) to the Senate was elected,[1] along with approximately 62,300 mandates to local councils.[2] The date of the elections was announced by the President Miloš Zeman in June, 2014.[3]
