Corey Nelson (born April 22, 1992) is an American football inside linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft.[1] He played college football at Oklahoma. Nelson was on the Broncos Super Bowl 50 championship team after they beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10.

Professional career

Nelson was drafted by the Broncos in the seventh round, 242nd overall, in the 2014 NFL Draft. He played all 16 regular-season games his rookie year and totaled 13 tackles, one pass defensed and four special-teams stops. In 2015, Nelson played all 16 regular-season games and totaled 10 tackles, one sack and seven special-teams stops.
