The building of the Hungarian state theatre and opera in Cluj-Napoca

The State Hungarian Opera in Cluj-Napoca is an opera company in Romania, founded on 17 December 1948.[1]

The structure was built during 1909-1910, on the site of an old summer theatre dating back in, and reconstructed in 1959-1961. The ensemble can host 862 people.[2]

The building also hosts the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj.
