Chuck Neubauer

Chuck Neubauer (born 13 February 1950)[1] is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist.

Education

He received his M.S. degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 1973.[1]

Career

He has worked as a reporter at Chicago Today (1973–1974), the Chicago Tribune (1976–1983), the Chicago Sun-Times (1983–2001),[1] the Los Angeles Times (2001–2008), and the Washington Times (from April 2009).[2]

While at the Chicago Tribune, Neubauer shared the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Local Investigative Specialized Reporting for a series about abuses in Federal Housing Administration programs.[1][3] He also investigated the political dealings of Chicago's Dan Rostenkowski in the 1990s.[1][4]
